Diana Agu is a dedicated community leader, advocate, and parent passionate about education and opportunities for all students. With a background in law and over 17 years of leadership experience in technology, financial services, and healthcare, Diana brings a collaborative and forward-thinking approach to the Morris School District Board of Education.
Diana previously served as the President of the Morris County Special Education Parent Advisory Group (SEPAG), where she worked tirelessly to support families and promote education for all. Her leadership and commitment to advocacy have earned her numerous awards, including the Key to New York City and other recognitions from public officials. In addition to her local advocacy, Diana proudly serves as the Vice President Literacy Volunteers of America for Essex and Passaic Counties (LVAEP), and is actively involved in other community based and philanthropic endeavours, ensuring community voices are heard and represented.
As a mother of two children, one of whom has special needs, she knows firsthand the importance of inclusive education, academic excellence, and supporting every child to reach their full potential. Diana has been recognized for her community service and her dedication to empowering families through advocacy, transparency, and compassion
